SUMMARY:2021 Dhajaa Badli
DESCRIPTION:Pranaam \n2021 Dhajaa Badli \nWe have a bi-annual uchhavani of Dhajaa Badli. In the present circumstances\, we cannot justify bi-annual uchhavani\, i.e.\, this year the labharthi gets one year’s (2021’s) labh only.\nDhajaa Badli Uchhavani\nWe have in total 8 uchhavanis\, 5 for Bhagwan and 3 for Veer. The uchhavanis will be for: \nBHAGWAN\nMul Nayak\, Mahavir Swami\nAdinath Bhagwan\nParswanath Bhagwan\nMunisuwrat Swami\nSimandhar Swami \nVEER\nMani Bhadra Veer\nGhantakaran Veer\nNakoda Bhairav \nWe will follow the uchhavani process similar to the one we had during Paryushan 2020 for Swapna Uchhavani.\nUchhavani will be done through WhatsApp message (details below). All labharthis will send their bids (uchhavani amount) via WhatsApp. They have to provide: their full names\, their phone number\, Uchhavani for which Dhajaa and the amount\, e.g.\nNAME Phone Number Dhajaa Amount\nA Shah and family 012 3456 7890 Mahavir Swami £ 2\,502.00 \nOnce a bid is received\, a confirmation will be sent to the labharthi. If more than 2 bids are received\, all of the labharthis will be advised to take appropriate action. We will publish the highest bid on WhatsApp as received. This will allow any potential labharthi to take part in the uchhavani or any losing labharthi to increase their uchhavani amount. The bidding messages will be accepted from 21st June 2021. Bidding will be finalised and names of the successful labharthis will be announced on 4th July 2021 during live programme. Details of the announcement programme will be published shortly. \nDETAILS of UCHHAVANI\nAll uchhavani bids will be accepted via WhatsApp messages only. The number to send your messages is 077 1858 3880. Please do not call or send messages via others or other sources. We have to keep written records of all the bids to one destination only.\nMaximum 2 parties will be allowed to form a syndicate. Maximum 8 labarthi members will be allowed to perform the ceremony by the Shikhar.\nDhajaa Badli Ceremony – Sunday\, 11th July 2021\nIn the present circumstances and considering Government’s latest guidelines\, 2021 Dhajaa Badli ritual will be a low-profile event. Only Labharthi families will be invited. The reason for this form of event\, we have to take all required measures on social distancing and avoiding contamination.\nThe event will be held on 11th July 2020 at 555 Kenton Road. The programme and procedure are as follows. \nLabharthis\n only 8 members of labharthi (family or syndicate) per Dhajaa are invited. Social families may be allowed. Due care should be taken to maintain social distancing\n Vulnerable or shielded individuals are advised not to attend.\n Measures for Social Distancing and avoidance of contamination:\no Wash your hands when you come in and do not touch anything unnecessarily. It is advisable to leave your personal belongings away (in your car or at home) from the premises.\no Put on a suitable face covering at all times. \nSattar Bhedi Poojan (details may change)\n Poojan will be performed in 555 Kenton Road. Only Labharthis can take part\, if they are available.\n Poojan will commence at around 10:15am after Snatra Poojan. Labharthis will arrive after 10:15 am\n After 9th Poojan (Dhajaa ni pooja) the labharthi family (one at a time) will go to the roof to do Dhajaa Badli. \nDhajaa Badli\n One labharthi family at a time will go to perform Dhajaa Badli.\n Once the ritual is complete\, they will leave the premises.\n We will provide prabhavna packets to the invited guests. \nNOTE: The management reserves right to change any of the above details without prejudice.
