DESCRIPTION:Maun Ekadashi is a very important day for Jains. \nThis day is so auspicious that any adoration\, worship and penance performed in silence is multiplied by 150 times so even one fast achieves the fruits of 150 fasts. It is believed that a worshipper\, by performing all the rites and rituals of Maun Ekadashi for a period of 11 years and 11 months\, can achieve salvation in an upcoming life. \nThe following worship rites are also observed in silence on this day:\n1. Kaussagga of 12 Logassa\n3. 12 Khamasaman\n4. 12 Swastiks\n5. 20 Narvkaar Vali of Jap Pad: Om Rhim Shrim Mallinath Sarvagnay Namah! \nIf possible\, please try to observe – Poshadh\, Desavgasik\, Samayik\, Pratrikraman\, listen to Discourses\, a Fast\, Aymbil\, Ekaasnu\, Navkaar Jap\, Navkaarsi\, Chauvihaar. \nOn this day\, observe silence and chant one Mala (Rosary of beads) of each Kalyanak according to Mantras in the table – making a total of 150 Malas. \nમૌન એકાદશી પર્વ.\nમાગશર સુદ ૧૧ \nમૌન એકાદશી ચાતુર્માસ પૂર્ણ થયા પછી માગસર સુદ અગિયારસને દિવસે મૌન એકાદશીનું પર્વ આવે છે. આ દિવસે ત્રણ ચોવીશીના તીર્થંકરોના ૧૫૦ કલ્યાણકો થયાં છે. તેથી આ દિવસ એવો શ્રેષ્ઠ છે કે\, આ દિવસે ઉપવાસ કરનારને ૧૫૦ ઉપવાસનું ફળ મળે છે. અને પૌષધ કરનારને ૧૫૦ પૌષધનું જેટલું ફળ મળે છે આવા ઉત્તમ ફળને આપનાર આ પર્વની દરેકે અવશ્ય આરાધના કરવી જોઈએ. \nએક વાર બાવીશમાં તીર્થંકર પરમાત્મા શ્રી નેમિનાથ પ્રભુ દ્વારિકા નગરીમાં સમોસર્યા. તે વખતે કૃષ્ણ મહારાજા પ્રભુને વાંદીને સભામાં બેઠા. પ્રભુએ વૈરાગ્યમય દેશના આપી. દેશનાને અંતે શ્રી કૃષ્ણ મહારાજે પૂછ્યું કે “ભગવાન! વર્ષના ૩૬૦ દિવસમાં એવો કયો ઉત્તમ દિવસ છે કે જેમાં કરેલું થોડું પણ વ્રતાદી તપ પણ ઘણું ફળ આપે?” \nજવાબમાં પ્રભુએ જણાવ્યું કે\, “હે કૃષ્ણ! માગસર સુદ એકાદશીનો દિવસ સર્વ પર્વોમાં ઉત્તમ છે. કારણકે તે દિવસે ત્રણે ચોવીસીના તીર્થંકરોના ૧૫૦ કલ્યાણકો આવે છે.\nતે આ પ્રમાણે :- આ ભરત ક્ષેત્રમાં વર્તમાન ચોવીસીમાં આ દિવસે \n૧). ૧૮માં શ્રી અરનાથ પ્રભુની દીક્ષા થઇ હતી.\n૨). ૨૨માં શ્રી નેમિનાથ પ્રભુને કેવલજ્ઞાન પ્રાપ્ત થયું હતું.\n૩-૪-૫). ૧૯માં શ્રી મલ્લીનાથ પ્રભુના જન્મ\, દીક્ષા\, કેવલજ્ઞાન એમ ત્રણ કલ્યાણકો આ જ દિવસે થયા હતા. \nએમ ભરતક્ષેત્રમાં આ ચોવીસીમાં કુલ પાંચ કલ્યાણકો થયાં છે. \nએ પ્રમાણે કુલ પાંચ ભરતક્ષેત્રો અને પાંચ ઐરાવતક્ષેત્રોમાં પાંચ પાંચ કલ્યાણકો થયાં હોવાથી ૫૦ કલ્યાણકો થયાં. \nઆ પ્રમાણે વર્તમાન ચોવીસીના ૫૦\, અતીત(ગઈ) ચોવીસીના ૫૦ અને અનાગત(આવતી) ચોવીસીના ૫૦ એમ કુલ ૧૫૦ કલ્યાણકો આ તિથિએ થયાં છે. \nમાટે આ તિથિએ ઉપવાસ કરવાથી પણ ૧૫૦ ઉપવાસનું ફળ મળે છે. અને જે આ તપની વિધિપૂર્વક આરાધના કરે છે તેમના ફળનું તો કહેવું જ શું? આ તપ ૧૧ વર્ષે પૂરો થાય છે. \nઆ દિવસે મુખ્યતા મૌન જાળવવાનું હોવાથી આ દિવસ મૌન એકાદશી તરીકે ઓળખાય છે

DESCRIPTION:|| કારતક સુદ ૧૫ – કાર્તિકી પૂર્ણિમાનો મહિમા || \nઆ દિવસે ચાતુર્માસ પૂર્ણ થવાથી શત્રુંજય ગિરિરાજ ઉપર જઈને આદેશ્વરદાદાને ભેટવાનો પહેલો દિવસ હોય છે. આ દિવસની સાથે દ્રાવિડ અને વારિખિલ્લ રાજા અને તેના સૈનિકોની કથા જોડાયેલી છે. \nજૈન પરંપરા મુજબ જૈન સાધુ સાધ્વીજીઓના ચાતુર્માસની સમાપ્તિ અને નવા વર્ષે વિહાર કરવાની પરંપરા છે. તે ઉપરાંત કાર્તિક પૂર્ણિમાએ શત્રુંજય-ગિરિરાજજીના યાત્રાનો પ્રારંભ પણ થશે. સાથોસાથ કલિકાલ સર્વજ્ઞા હેમચન્દ્રાચાર્ય મહારાજનો જન્મદિવસ પણ છે. પૂ. મુનિરાજ જગતચન્દ્રવિજયજી મહારાજના જણાવ્યા પ્રમાણે કારતકી પૂનમ એટલે રત્નત્રયી આરાધના\, તત્ત્વત્રયીની ઉપાસનો દિવસ છે. ચોમાસામાં ચાર મહિના માંગલિક રહેલી શ્રી શેત્રુંજય મહાતીર્થની યાત્રાનો આરંભ થાય છે. હજારો શ્રાવક-શ્રાવિકાઓ ગિરિરાજની સ્પર્શના કરવા આવે છે. કેટલાક નવ્વાણુ યાત્રાનો આરંભ કરે છે. \nઆ દર્શન એટલે દેવની ઉપાસના. કલિકાલ સર્વજ્ઞા પૂ. હેમચન્દ્રચાર્યજીનો જન્મ દિન એટલે ગુરુભગવંતના સ્મરણથી ગુરુતત્વની ઉપાસના અને છેલ્લે ચાતુર્માસમાં સ્થિરવાસ કરી રહેલા સાધુ-સાધ્વીજીઓએ ભાવિકોને તપ-ત્યાગની આરાધના કરાવી હોય છે. તેઓ હવે વિહાર કરશે. એ સંદર્ભમાં એ પણ એક ઉપાસના છે. આમ આ ત્રિવેણી પર્વ છે.\nપર્વ તિથિઓમાં કાર્તિકી પૂર્ણિમાનું મહાત્ય્મ અનેરું છે.જે માણસ સિદ્ધગિરી ઉપર જિનેશ્વરના ધ્યાનમાં તત્પર થઇ ને કાર્તિકી પૂનમની વિધિ પૂર્વક ઉત્તમ પ્રકારે આરાધના કરે છે તે આ લોકમાં સર્વ પ્રકારે સુખ ભોગવી અલ્પ સમયમાં મુક્તિ સુખને પામે છે. કાર્તિકી પૂનમના દિવસે માત્ર એક ઉપવાસ કરીને શ્રી શત્રુંજય ગિરિરાજની ભાવપૂર્વક યાત્રા કરવાથી ઋષિહત્યા\, સ્ત્રી હત્યા અને બાળ હત્યા જેવા ઘોર પાપોથી માનવી મુક્ત થઇ જાય છે.તિર્યંચગતિ\,દેવગતિ અને નરકગતિમાં ચોરાસી લાખ ફેરા ફરતાં ફરતાં કોઈ મહાપુણ્ય યોગે આજે માનવભવ પ્રાપ્ત કરવાને ભાગ્યશાળી થયો છે.પરંતુ માનવભવ મળ્યા પછી એ બધા ભૂતકાળને ભૂલી ગયો છે અજ્ઞાનતાના કારણે અનેક પ્રકારના પાપોના પોટલાં બાંધે છે. પરંતુ જ્ઞાની ભગવંતોએ એવા ભયંકર બંધનોમાંથી છુટવાના અનેક ઉપાયો બતાવી આપના પર મહાન ઉપકાર કર્યા છે. એક એક પર્વતિથીની આરાધનાથી પૂર્વે કરેલા ઘોર પાપો ક્ષણવારમાં બળીને ભસ્મી ભૂત થઇ જાય છે.KARTAKI PONAM JATRA -SHATRUNJAY MAHATIRTH PALITANAKartik Poornima is very auspicious and religious day for the Jains.This is the day of ‘Nirvana’ of Dravid and Varikhil along with 10 crore monk.Jains celebrate it by visiting ‘Palitana’ one of the most famous Jain pilgrimageplaces. \nKartik Poornima and the Sacred Shatrunjay Tirth Yatra \nOn the auspicious day of Kartik Poornima\, a vast gathering of Jain pilgrims assembles at the foothills of the Shatrunjay Hills in Palitana Taluka to begin their sacred yatra (pilgrimage). This holy journey\, known as Shri Shatrunjay Teerth Yatra\, holds immense significance in the life of every Jain devotee. Covering nearly 220 kilometers of rugged\, mountainous terrain\, pilgrims walk on foot to reach the summit and offer reverence to Lord Adinath. \nThe Shatrunjay Hills remain closed to the public during the four monsoon months. On Kartik Poornima\, the hills are once again opened for worship. As Jains abstain from temple visits during the monsoon season\, this day marks their return to devotion — making it one of the most celebrated and spiritually powerful days of the year. \nAccording to Jain tradition\, Lord Adinath\, the first Tirthankara\, sanctified these hills by delivering his first sermon here. Scriptures mention that countless sadhus and sadhvis have attained moksha (liberation) on these sacred slopes. It is believed that a single step taken towards Shatrunjaya with a pure heart can wash away the sins of both present and past lives. The sinful become pure\, the wicked turn saintly\, and even those with omniscient knowledge cannot fully describe its glory. Those who complete the yatra with deep faith are said to attain salvation within their third or fifth birth. \nMany great souls\, including Dravid and Varikhilla\, achieved liberation here along with millions of monks. Numerous others have found freedom from the endless cycle of worldly suffering (sansar) on these hills. SUMMARY:Chaumasi Chaudas
DESCRIPTION:In the Jain lunar calendar\, Chaumasi Chaudas holds great spiritual importance and occurs three times a year. The term Chaumasi signifies a four-month period\, while Chaudas refers to the 14th day of the lunar fortnight—hence\, this sacred day arrives once every four months. \nOn this occasion\, Jains observe the day with devotion and discipline by refraining from consuming root and green vegetables\, engaging in penance such as fasting or partial fasting\, performing Dev Vandan and meditation\, and participating in Chaumasi Pratikraman. A ritual of self-reflection and repentance for any wrongs committed in thought\, word\, or deed\, whether knowingly or unknowingly\, during the past four months. \nFor those unable to follow the full observances\, the day can still be honoured by consciously reducing violence in thoughts\, speech\, and actions\, and by setting aside 10–20 minutes for sincere introspection and inner peace. \nChaumasi Chaudas – Michhami Dukkadam\n“Khamemi Savve Jiva\, Savve Jiya Khamantu Me Metti Me Savve Bhuyesu\, Veram Majham N Kenal” \n“I forgive all beings\, may all living beings forgive me.\nI cherish friendliness towards all and harbour\nenmity towards none”.

Any changes made will be effective immediately. \nપ્રતિક્રમણ એટલે શું?\n\nપ્રતિક્રમણ એટલે પાપથી પાછા ફરવાનો પ્રયાસ\nએ એવો પ્રયત્ન છે જેમાં આપણે જીવનની ખોટી દિશા છોડીને પોતાની આંતરિક શુદ્ધતા તરફ વળીયે છીએ.\nભૂલ ભરેલા ભૂતકાળ માટે ચિંતન કરીને ઉજળું ભાવિ ઘડવાનું કાર્ય\nઆપણા ભૂતકાળની ખામીઓને સ્વીકારી\, હવે શું સુધારી શકાય એ વિષે નિખાલસ વિચાર કરવો એજ સાચું પ્રતિક્રમણ.\nમનનું મંથન કરીને આત્મસ્વરૂપ સુધી પહોંચવાનો માર્ગ\nજ્યારે આપણે આંતરિક રીતે ઊંડું ઉતરીએ છીએ અને ખરા હું કોણ? એ શોધીએ છીએ ત્યારે પ્રતિક્રમણ સાધન બને છે.\nઅંતરાત્મામાં રહેલા દોષો\, દુર્ગુણો અને કર્મોની ગાંઠોને મૂળથી ઉખેડવાનો વિસ્ફોટ\nઅસંખ્ય જન્મોથી સંચિત થયેલી નકારાત્મકતાઓને દૂર કરવાની અંતઃક્રાંતિ. એ છે પ્રતિક્રમણ.\nસમગ્ર જૈન સમાજમાં એકતા\, શાંતિ અને સમતાની ભાવનાને જીવંત રાખવાની શક્તિશાળી વિધિ\nઆ ક્રિયા ન માત્ર વ્યક્તિગત છે\, પણ સમાજને પવિત્ર એકતામાં બાંધતી એક આધ્યાત્મિક શ્વાસ છે.\nસાંકેતિક નહિ\, પરંતુ ૪૮ મિનિટ સુધી સ્થિર બેસીને મન\, મંત્ર અને આત્માને જોડવાની તપસ્યા\nએ ક્ષણોમાં આપણે માત્ર શરીર નહિ\, પણ સમગ્ર ચેતનાને શાંત રાખી\, આત્માની નજીક લઈ જઈએ છીએ.\nદરેક જીવમાત્ર માટે પ્રેમ\, મૈત્રી અને સાથભાવ વ્યક્ત કરવાનું પવિત્ર કાર્ય\nજેમાં આપણે ‘મારે કોઈને દુઃખ નહિ પહોંચાડવું’ એ ભાવને આંતરમનથી સ્વીકારી દરેક જીવ માટે શ્રદ્ધા પોષીએ છીએ.\nહ્રદયમાંથી શુદ્ધભાવ ઉદ્ભવી આત્મા સાથે સંવાદ સ્થાપવાની નેટક્રિયા\nએટલે કે આત્માના વાસ્તવિક રૂપ સાથે નિરંતર જોડાયેલું રહેવું – જે દ્વારા મન શુદ્ધ થાય.\nજાણતાં-અજાણતાંથી થયેલા તમામ પાપો માટે પસ્તાવા સાથે માફી માગવાની દ્રઢ પ્રતિજ્ઞા\nએ વચન આપવાનું કે હવે એવું ફરી નહીં થાય અને આવિભાવથી પોતાની ભૂલો માટે જવાબદારી સ્વીકારવી.\nઅઢાર મહાપાપો અને ૮૪ લાખ યોનિના જીવો માટે ક્ષમાપના વિધિ દ્વારા આત્મશુદ્ધિનો અમૃત યજ્ઞ\nએ એવા ભાવ સાથે થાય છે કે “હું હવે વધુ શૃદ્ધ\, વધુ જવાબદાર જીવ તરીકે જીવન જીવવાનું પસંદ કરું છું”.\n\nપર્યુષણ – આત્મશોધનો પાવન સમય\nશ્વેતાંબર પંથમાં તેને ‘પર્યુષણ’ તરીકે ઓળખવામાં આવે છે જ્યારે દિગંબર પંથના લોકો તેને ‘દસ લક્ષણ પર્વ’ કહે છે. ‘પર્યુષણ‘ શબ્દનો અર્થ થાય છે – સાથે આવવું અથવા પોતાના અંદર ઝાંકીને જીવશુદ્ધિ તરફનું પથ. \nઆ સમય દરમ્યાન જૈન શ્રાવક-શ્રાવિકાઓ સાધુ-સાધ્વીઓ જેવી તપસ્યા અને આધ્યાત્મિકતા તરફ આગળ વધવાનો પ્રયાસ કરે છે. ચોમાસાની ચાતુર્માસી વચ્ચે આવતા આ પર્વનો સમય મુખ્યત્વે ભાદરવા સુદ પાંચમથી શરૂ થાય છે. જૂના શાસ્ત્રો મુજબ\, ભગવાન મહાવીરે ભાદરવા સુદ પાંચમે પર્યુષણ શરૂ કર્યું હતું\, જે બાદમાં સંવત્સરી ભાદરવા સુદ ચોથ પર ખસેડાઈ\, અને ત્યારથી 2200 વર્ષથી એ જ દિવસે સંવત્સરી મનાવવામાં આવે છે. \nશ્વેતાંબર પંથ આ પર્વ 8 દિવસ મનાવે છે અને દિગંબર પંથ 10 દિવસ. દિગંબર પંથમાં દસ લક્ષણો – જેમ કે ક્ષમા\, માર્દવ\, આરજવ વગેરે – પર ધ્યાન આપીને તત્વાર્થસૂત્રનું પાઠ કરાય છે. શ્વેતાંબર પંથમાં ‘કલ્પસૂત્ર’ના પાઠ સાથે ભગવાન મહાવીરનું જન્મ કથા પણ વાંચવામાં આવે છે. આ સમય દરમ્યાન ઉપવાસ\, ધ્યાન\, પ્રતિક્રમણ અને સામાયિક જેવા સાધનો દ્વારા આત્મશુદ્ધિ અને વિચારવિમર્શ થાય છે. \nજે લોકો ઉપવાસ કરે છે તેઓ માત્ર ઉકળેલું પાણી પીએ છે અને એ પણ માત્ર દિવસ દરમિયાન. ઉપવાસનો સમય એક દિવસથી લઇને મહિનો સુધી થઈ શકે છે. બધા જ દિવસોની શરૂઆત અને અંત સામાન્ય રીતે પ્રતિક્રમણથી થાય છે – જેને આત્મવિચાર અને ક્ષમાયાચનાનો સમય માનવામાં આવે છે. \nઆ પર્વનો અંત થાય છે ‘સંવત્સરી પ્રતિક્રમણ’ સાથે. એ દિવસે દરેક વ્યક્તિ તેના પરિવારજનો\, મિત્રો અને ઓળખીતાઓને “મિચ્છામી દુક્કડમ” કહી માફી માંગે છે. તેનો અર્થ – “જો મારા કોઈ કર્મ કે શબ્દથી તમને ક્યારેક દુઃખ થયું હોય\, તો કૃપા કરીને મને માફ કરો.” \nઆ પર્વ પ્રેમ\, ક્ષમા\, વૈરાગ્ય અને આત્મવિચારનો પથ દર્શાવે છે – જ્યાં આપણે સૌ આપણાં જિવનને વધુ સદ્ગુણી અને આધ્યાત્મિક બનાવવાનો સંકલ્પ કરીએ છીએ. \nમિચ્છામી દુક્કડમ!

DESCRIPTION:શ્રી મહાવીર સ્વામી જન્મ કલ્યાણક (૨૬૬૩ મો) ગુરુવાર 10/04/2025 ચૈત્ર સુદ ૧૩ \nશ્રી મહાવીર સ્વામી ભગવાન ” જન્મ કલ્યાણક” \n\n“ઇક જન્મ્યો રાજ દૂલારો…દુનિયાનો તારણહારો । ‘વર્ધમાન ‘ નુ નામ ધરીને પ્રગટ્યો તેજ સિતારો । …..\n\n\n\nભગવાન શ્રી મહાવીર જે ગત. ૨૬માં ભવમાં ઊઘ્ર્વાકાશમાં અસંખ્ય ગાઉ દૂર વૈમાનિક નિકાયના ‘પ્રાણત’ કલ્પમાં દેવ તરીકે હતા. ત્યાંનું આયુષ્ય પૂર્ણ થતા ૨૭માં ભવમાં ભારતની પૂર્વદિશામાં આવેલી વૈશાલી નગરીના ઉપનગર બ્રાહ્મણકુંડના બ્રાહ્મણ ઋષભદત્તની પત્ની દેવાનંદાની કુક્ષિમાં ગર્ભરૂપે જન્મ લેવા અવતર્યા.\n\nપૂર્વે કરેલા કુળના અભિમાનના કારણે તેઓને બ્રાહ્મણકુળમાં અવતરવું પડયું. મહાવીર માટે આ નિયમથી વિરુદ્ધ ઘટના બની. તીર્થંકરો જેવી વ્યકિતઓ માટે નિયમ એવો છે કે અંતિમ ભવમાં ઉરચ ગણાતા ક્ષત્રિયાદિ જાતિકુળ વંશમાં જ જન્મ લે. દેવલોકના ઇન્દ્રએ અવધિજ્ઞાનથી આ ઘટનાને જૉતા તેઓએ ક્ષત્રિયકુળનું યોગ્ય સ્થાન નક્કી કરી.\n\nહરિ-ણૈગમેષી દેવ દ્વારા ગર્ભપરાવર્તનનો આદેશ આપી દેવાનંદાની કુક્ષિમાંથી ભગવાનના ગર્ભને ક્ષત્રિયકુંડ ગામના રાજા સિદ્ધાર્થની પત્ની ક્ષત્રિયાણી ત્રિશલાની કુક્ષિમાં સ્થાપિત કર્યો. આને ગર્ભાપહરણની ઘટના કહેવામાં આવે છે.\n\nકરોડો વર્ષે બનતી આ એક આશ્ચર્યજનક ઘટના છે.ત્રિશલારાણીના ગર્ભમાં સ્થાપિત થયા બાદ માતા ત્રિશલા મઘ્યરાત્રિએ ચૌદ મહાસ્વપ્નો જુએ છે. તેનો ફળાદેશ એ હતો કે તેઓ તીર્થંકર જેવા મહાપુરુષની માતા બનવાના છે અને આમ તેઓ ‘વિશ્વમાતા’નું બિરુદ’ પામ્યાં.\n\n\n\nજન્મ કલ્યાણક: વિ.સંવત ૫૮૦ અને ઇ.સ. પૂર્વે ૬૩૬ વર્ષની ચૈત્ર સુદ ૧૩(તેરસ)ની મઘ્યરાત્રિએ નવ મહિના અને સાડા સાત દિવસ વીત્યા બાદ વિશ્વોદ્ધારક ભગવાન મહાવીરનો જન્મ થયો.\n\nત્રણે લોકમાં (સ્વર્ગ\, પાતાળ\, મૃત્યુ) દિવ્ય પ્રકાશ પથરાઇ ગયો. દેવદેવીઓએ મહોત્સવ કરી ગુણગાનથી સ્તવના કરી ભગવાનને મેરુપર્વત પર લાવીને સ્નાનાભિષેક કર્યો. ત્યાર પછી માતાપિતાએ જન્મોત્સવ ઊજવ્યો. સર્વત્ર ધનધાન્યની વૃદ્ધિ થવાથી ગુણનિષ્પન નામ ‘વર્ધમાન’ રાખવામાં આવ્યું.\n\nબાળ વર્ધમાનની નિર્ભયતા અને નીડરતાના અનેક પ્રસંગોએ પ્રભુ વર્ધમાનને લોકો ‘મહાવીર’ કહેવા લાગ્યા…….\n\n\n\nજ્ઞાન બિમલ ગુરુ વયણે આજે \,ગુણ તમારા ગાવે હરખે….થઈ સુકાની તુ પ્રભુ આવે \, ભવજલ નૈય્યા પાર લગાવે….\n\n\n\nઘર ઘર મા આનંદ છવાયો…પ્રભુનો જન્મ મહોત્સવ આવ્યો રે….

DESCRIPTION:મૌન એકાદશી પર્વ (શનિવાર 23/12/2023) \nJai Jinendra\n\n        Maun Ekadashi Parv\nSaturday\, 23rd December 2023\n\n        DEV VANDAN\n          ⏰11.00 am⏰\n       (For Gents -at 555)\n       (For Ladies – at 614)\n\n    ✋ EVENING PRATIKRAMAN\n              ⏰6.00 pm⏰\n  (at 555 Kenton Road)\n\n         ☀️ SAMUH AARTI ☀️\n             ⏰7.30 pm⏰\n                Nakro £31\n\nRegister your name with Niraj Sutaria on 079 3256 7960 or at Derasar Ketanbhai on 020 8206 1659\n\n\nમૌન એકાદશી પર્વ\nઆવતીકાલે (શનિવાર 23/12/2023) \nમૌન એકાદશી\nચાતુર્માસ પૂર્ણ થાય છે પછી માગસર સુદ એકાદશીના દિવસે મૌન એકાદશી પર્વ આવે છે. \nઆ દિવસે 150 કલ્યાણક થયા છે\, તેનાથી આ દિવસે ઉપવાસ કરતાં 150 ઉપવાસના ફળ મળે છે. \nએક વખત બાવીસમાં તીર્થંકર પરમાત્મા શ્રી નેમિનાથ પ્રભુ દ્વારિકા નગરીમાં આવ્યા હતા. ત્યારે શ્રી કૃષ્ણ મહારાજાએ પૂછ્યું: “ભગવાન! 360 દિવસના વર્ષમાં કયો દિવસ સર્વોત્તમ છે\, જે દિવસે ઉપવાસ અથવા તપના ફળ અધિક થાય છે?” \nઉત્તરમાં શ્રી નેમિનાથ પ્રભુએ જણાવ્યું: “હે કૃષ્ણ! માગસર સુદ એકાદશીનો દિવસ સર્વ પર્વોમાં ઉત્તમ છે. કારણકે આ દિવસ ત્રણ ચોવીશી તીર્થંકરોના કુલ 150 કલ્યાણક થયા છે. \nતે આ રીતે:\nઆ ભરતક્ષેત્રમાં વર્તમાન ચોવીશીના \n18માં શ્રી અરનાથ પ્રભુનો દીક્ષા કલ્યાણક થયો હતો.\n21માં શ્રી નેમિનાથ પ્રભુનો કેવલજ્ઞાન કલ્યાણક થયો હતો.\n19માં શ્રી મલ્લીનાથ પ્રભુનું જન્મ\, દીક્ષા\, અને કેવલજ્ઞાન એવા ત્રણ કલ્યાણક આ દિવસ થયા છે. \nઆ રીતે ભરતક્ષેત્રમાં કુલ પાંચ કલ્યાણક થયા છે. \nઆ રીતે કુલ પાંચ ભરતક્ષેત્ર અને પાંચ એરવતક્ષેત્રમાં પાંચ પાંચ કલ્યાણક થતાં કુલ ૫૦ કલ્યાણક થયા છે. \nઆ રીતે વર્તમાન ચોવીશીના 50\, અતીત (પાછળ) ચોવીશીના 50\, અને આવનાર ચોવીશીના 50 કલ્યાણક આ દિવસ થયા છે. \nઆ રીતે આ દિવસ ઉપવાસ કરતાં અથવા અન્ય કોઈ પૂજન કરતાં 150 ગુણ વધુ ફળ મળવા પાત્ર છે. \nમૌન ચાર પ્રકારનો હોઈ શકે છે:\n1- વાણીનો મૌન / 2- કાયાનો મૌન / 3- ઇન્દ્રિયોનો મૌન / 4- મનનો મૌન \nઅને એક મૌન છે અને તે આત્માનો મૌન છે I આત્માનો મૌન એ સર્વશ્રેષ્ઠ મૌન છે।
