Yesterday marked a significant occasion for the London Borough of Harrow – the official Mayor Making Ceremony took place, celebrating the installation of Councillor Anjana Patel as the new Mayor of Harrow.

It was a privilege and a moment of pride for Mahavir Foundation as our esteemed President, Shri Nirajbhai Shah, was honoured to attend this prestigious event. The ceremony was held with great dignity and tradition, highlighting the values of public service and community spirit that define Harrow.

Councillor Anjana Patel, a dynamic and dedicated leader, has long been known for her tireless work for the community. Her commitment, vision, and passion have now led her to this remarkable milestone — becoming the First Citizen of Harrow. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Madam Mayor Anjana Patel on this well-deserved honour.

Her appointment not only reflects her personal dedication but also represents an inspiring moment for women in leadership and for the Indian community in Harrow. We are confident that under her stewardship, Harrow will continue to thrive and grow in inclusivity, harmony, and progress.

We wish Madam Mayor a successful and impactful term and assure her of Mahavir Foundation’s continued support in all initiatives that benefit our community.
